Omar Alaa is an Egyptian triathlete, born on 26th of may 2001, in Cairo, Egypt. He was a swimmer specialized in middle and long distance but the conditions didn’t help him to make it to the podium.

He started running in 2018 and also specialized in middle and long distance. After short time he managed to make it to the podium at nationals and also in biathle nationals. He started triathlon in 2019 with some national championships and managed to make it to the podium in the 2019 duathlon African cup.

Now Omar is seeking to take the win in the coming African cups and championships and to make it to the World Cup and of course as any athlete’s dream to make it to the Olympics.
