Exclusive Video: ITU Sport Development
11 November, 2009 | espaƱol
Our second Exclusive Video of the series brings you footage from behind the scenes at ITU Sport Development Programme which is headed by Libby Burrell. For many young aspiring athletes their National Federations cannot provide them with the resources to compete on the world stage. ITU Sport Development works with the developing and emerging nations to offer works of best practice and runs special ITU Sport Development camps to give talented triathletes the chance to compete on the world stage.
Built around the philosophy of the ‘three E’s, ITU Sport Development aims to educate up and coming stars as to the lifestyle of the top elites, give them the experience and provide them with as much exposure as possible. Dextro Energy Triathlon – ITU World Championship silver medallist Lisa Norden owes much of her success to the programme.
