When I was 13 I was invited to compete in an aquathlon, and I moved on to triathlon from there. My family has been a big influence on my sporting career; my father practices charreria and is an amateur soccer player.

My personal best swim time over 1500m is 18:16. I am a participant of the talent program run by the Mexican Triathlon Federation. My favorite ITU race has been the Huatulco World Cup as it was held in my home country, and I got to see some of the best elite athletes in the world. My triathlon goal is to be among the best triathletes in the world.
Outside of triathlon, I spend my time studying and helping my family.
