I have been competing on the world stage for the past 5 years since finishing high school in 2010. After school with a ATAR of 90.1, I started university twice doing primary school teaching and sports science but I decided to invest in my dream. I now live in Wollongong for 3 months then overseas in Europe for 4 months in the Basque country of Spain in a place called Vitoria Gasteiz.  I am currently 23 years old and I have competed at 4 world championships as a junior in 2011 and under 23 in 2012, 2013 and 2015. I have competed on the WTS circuit since 2012 now with my best result being 10th in Auckland 2013. This year I did my first half ironman at Challenge Melbourne in January where I placed second, giving a great insight into the future.

I am part of a pretty unique squad called the Wollongong wizards under the guidance of my coach Jamie turner, who puts me in an elite environment on a day to day basis here in Australia and overseas. Over the past few years I have been pretty unlucky on the health side of things having a hip arthroscopy in 2014, pancreatitis in 2015 and just recently been struck down in a stress reaction in my metatarsal in my foot. My main goal is to stay healthy and strong and build myself back on the world stage as a major competitor as I know I have the right processes to get me there. In future years I want to focus on competing for Australia at the commonwealth games and the Olympic games.
