#WTSMontreal by the numbers

For the seventh stop and the penultimate event of the 2018 World Triathlon Series, the elites continued on to the second Canadian host city of the season; Montreal, Quebec. Returning for just the second time in the history of the WTS, vital points were on the line for athletes looking to increase their overall Series ranking before the Gold Coast Grand Final.

In all, 34 women and 48 men competed during the two-day event where Vicky Holland (GBR) and Mario Mola (ESP) won in Montreal to both sweep the two-city Canadian tour after victories in Edmonton and Montreal this year.

Combining both the men’s and women’s races. there was 67 finishes, 7 DNF, 2 DNS and 6 LAP on the course.
