Ahmed Andaloussi was involved in a car accident in 1993, which resulted in paraplegia. It was 20 years later that he won his first gold at the 2013 FRA Paratriathlon National Championships and Ahmed has since gone onto secure a host of top-level podium finishes including a trio of World Cup wins in 2018.
